John James Revealed: John James Says Bipartisanship “Makes Me Want to Throw Up,” Doubles Down On “2,000%” Support for Trump

Failed politician John James has confirmed his far-right positions are too extreme for Michigan. As MLive reports, at a recent event James “scoffed” at bipartisanship, “telling supporters the term is a buzzword that ‘makes me want to throw up’” – even as prominent in-state veterans including retired Maj. Gen. Greg Vadnais tout the value of bipartisanship.

James’ rebuke of bipartisanship comes as he’s made his “2,000%” support for Trump clear, confirming in a recent interview that “he still supports the president.”

“If working across the aisle to deliver results for Michigan makes John James ‘want to throw up’, then he’s clearly not up to the task of being an effective leader,” said Michigan Democratic Party spokesperson Elena Kuhn. “James’ scoffing at bipartisanship is further proof that he cares more about serving Trump than Michigan, and can’t be trusted to be an independent voice for our state.”

The Michigan Democratic Party launched to hold the failed U.S. Senate candidate accountable for his positions – including those made over the course of the 2018 campaign that he then tried to delete after losing that campaign. For the first year of his campaign, James was largely in hiding from Michigan press and voters to try to paper over his out-of-touch record, and has only come out of hiding after facing scrutiny from Michiganders.
